By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Description
NextMove Express provides express air courier services from the United States to Jamaica.
• Packages are received at our U.S. warehouse and shipped to Jamaica.
• Customers may collect packages in Mandeville or from their nearest Knutsford Express location, with the delivery fee covered by NextMove Express.
• Standard delivery timeframe: 2–3 business days after the package is received at our U.S. warehouse.
3. Customer Responsibilities
• Customers must provide accurate name, phone number, and email.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring packages are securely packaged by the sender.
• Customers must not ship prohibited items (see Section 7).
• All shipping fees must be paid before package release.
4. Company Responsibilities
• Packages are inspected at the U.S. warehouse before shipment.
• Customers will be notified if a package arrives at the warehouse already damaged.
• NextMove Express commits to timely delivery but cannot guarantee delivery dates if affected by external factors (see Section 9).
5. Pricing and Payment
• Shipping is calculated based on weight per pound or other posted rates.
• Payments are accepted via:
• Cash on pickup
• Bank transfer
• Debit/Credit card (POS – coming soon)
• All fees must be settled in full before package release.
6. Liability and Damaged Packages
• NextMove Express is not liable for:
• Damage caused during international shipping, customs inspections, or third-party carriers.
• Delays due to customs, flight cancellations, weather, or strikes.
• Damaged items:
• If damage is identified at the warehouse before shipment, the customer will be notified.
• Customers must pursue claims or replacements directly with the original seller or retailer.
7. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Firearms, knives, ammunition, explosives
• Hazardous, toxic, or flammable goods
• Counterfeit products
• Alcohol, perishable food, or live animals
Packages containing prohibited items will be refused and may be reported to authorities.
8. Delivery & Collection Terms
• Delivery timeframe: 2–3 business days after warehouse receipt.
• Packages may be collected in Mandeville or delivered via Knutsford Express at no additional cost.
• Uncollected Packages:
• Customers must collect within 14 days of notification.
• After 14 days, a daily storage fee may apply.
• After 21 days, uncollected packages will be considered abandoned and become property of NextMove Express.
9. Force Majeure
NextMove Express will not be held liable for delays or failures caused by:
• Weather events
• Natural disasters
• Customs delays or inspections
• Government actions
• Airline or courier disruptions
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
• Complaints may be submitted in writing via email.
• All disputes will be governed by the laws of Jamaica.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
• Customer data (name, phone, email, address) is collected only for shipping and delivery purposes.
• Data will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law.
12. Modification of Terms
NextMove Express reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and apply immediately.
Storage and Abandonment Policy
Packages not collected within twenty-one (21) days from the date of arrival may be deemed abandoned and become the property of NextMove Express. A daily storage fee of JMD $200 will apply beginning on the 14th day after arrival until the 21st day, after which ownership of the package transfers to NextMove Express without further notice. Customers are encouraged to collect their packages promptly to avoid additional fees or forfeiture.
14. Termination of Service
NextMove Express may suspend or terminate services for customers who:
• Repeatedly violate these Terms,
• Attempt to ship prohibited items, or
• Engage in fraudulent activity.
